Chophouse Sydney announces exclusive wine dinners with Teusner and Clonakilla

Acclaimed CBD steakhouse Chophouse Sydney, from Matt Moran, is welcoming two of Australia’s most respected wineries – Teusner and Clonakilla – for the latest instalments of its ongoing Wine Dinner Series.

Known for its premium Australian steaks and commitment to quality local produce, Chophouse’s Wine Dinner Series showcases the very best of Australian food and wine. Hosted in the restaurant’s private dining room, each evening features a three-course menu by Head Chef Steve Jacomos, thoughtfully paired with wines from the featured winery and hosted by the winemaker behind each bottle.

The first dinner takes place on 20th August, welcoming Teusner Wines from the Barossa Valley. The evening will see winemaker Kym Teusner pair the winery’s bold Barossa reds with Chophouse favourites, including Yellowfin tuna crudo, grilled Fremantle octopus, O’Connor MBS3+ Gippsland steak, seasonal sides and cheese to finish ($155pp).

On 2nd November, Chophouse will partner with acclaimed Canberra District winery Clonakilla. Hosted by legendary winemaker Tim Kirk, guests will enjoy a three-course menu alongside a selection of current and museum-release wines, celebrating Clonakilla’s internationally recognised, world-class Shiraz ($170pp).
