Jetty Road Brewery hosts three day German-inspired festivities, 9 – 11 October
Jetty Road Brewery is giving Mornington Peninsula locals, and those visiting the area, the perfect excuse to get into the Oktoberfest spirit, with the celebration returning to the Dromana brewery from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October for three days of steins, friendly competitions, and family fun.
Throughout the weekend, the brewery will be transformed into a vibrant German beer hall, with decorations and long tables, creating a perfect atmosphere for everyone to gather with friends, have fun and raise a stein.
Celebrating the team’s love of beer, Jetty Road Brewery will be pouring a selection of limited-edition German-inspired brews. Guests can enjoy a finely balanced German Pilsner, a subtly sweet Helles Lager, a crisp Hoppy Lager, or a smooth Dunkel, all brewed especially for the occasion. The beers will also be available as an Oktoberfest beer paddle.
Across the three days, there will be jam-packed program full of activities:
Friday 9 October
- First 100 guests of the day receive a Hoppy German on the house
- German themed raffles running from 5-7pm
- DJ Sophie will keep the vibes high from 6pm
Saturday 10 October
- Traditional Oompah Band from 1-4pm
- Stein holding competition at 2pm
Sunday 11 October (Family Day)
- Pretzel colouring-in competition
- Free face painting from 1-4pm
- Kids’ juice stein holding challenge at 2pm
Alongside the beers, the German-inspired menu will bring deliciousness to the table, featuring Chicken Schnitzel and Bratwurst Bangers & Mash, alongside the German Share Board perfect for groups wanting to sample meats, sausages, pretzel, potato cake, sauerkraut, salad, slaw, pickles and sauces.
Guests looking for a smaller snack can also tuck into a traditional Pretzel, and the littlest diners will be satisfied with the Kids Bratwurst Roll.
