This September, Willoughby’s The Bridgeview Hotel is launching Bridgey & Barrel,a new monthly dining series celebrating exceptional wines, thoughtfully paired menus and the stories behind every bottle.
Held every second Thursday in the hotel’s classic Dining Room, already home to an extensive wine list, each event will be hosted by a different winemaker, winery ambassador or industry expert for just $89pp, ensuring no two evenings are the same.
The series begins on Thursday, 10th September 2026 with Tyrrell’s Wines,Australia’s oldest family-owned winery from Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley. Guests will enjoy a guided tasting, complemented by a three-course menu by Chef Rob. Discover the history, craftsmanship and family legacy behind one of the country’s most iconic wine producers.
The experience continues on 8th October with local wine merchant First Ridge, bringing its world-class Italian varietal wines to The Bridgeview, before Audrey Wilkinson takes over on 12th November, highlighting the contemporary and modern style wines from its beautiful cellar doors in the Hunter Valley.
Closing out the year, Clonakilla, one of Australia’s most acclaimed cool-climate labels, will take over the Dining Room on 10th December. Expect an in-depth tasting, spotlighting their Canberra estate-grown wines and rich history, thoughtfully paired with a decadent three-course menu.
