What’s On: Chiswick is turning back the clock with Retro Sundays

This August, Chiswick Woollahra is turning back the clock with Retro Sundays – a four-week series celebrating the old-school food classics generations of Australians grew up with, reworked through Chiswick’s seasonal, produce-led lens.

From Beef Wellington and Chicken Kiev to Corned Beef with parsley béchamel, each Sunday will showcase a different nostalgic favourite, paired with a classic retro dessert that evokes another era – think Sticky Date Pudding and Neapolitan Ice Cream. Full menu below and HERE.

Nostalgia continues behind the bar, with a playful drinks list taking its cues from classic milk bars and childhood favourites. The Spider gives the creaming soda spider an adults-only makeover, while Golden Days transforms honeycomb ice cream into a bourbon and malt milk punch. Backyard Cricket is a sparkling lemon squash highball, with Summer Holidays revisiting the iconic Malibu and pineapple.

Retro Sundays will run every Sunday from 9th–30th August from 5pm with two courses for $60pp. Please find bookings HERE
