Available for one weekend only, there is an all-new immersive whisky foraging trail like no other coming to Sydney, featuring a series of curated food pairings developed in collaboration with Ace Hotel Sydney’s Culinary Director Isobel Whelan-Little.
This year, sherried whisky mastery The Glendronach reaches its 200th anniversary. To celebrate, the distillery is bringing the Scottish Highlands to Sydney with the launch of The Glendronach Presents: An Ode to The Highlands. The trail includes:
- Highlands House: Enjoy a welcome cocktail featuring The Glendronach’s signature 12 Year Old Scotch to whet the palate.
- Ode to the Valley: Travel to the heart of Scotland through a Highland inspired soundscape, and forage for your first dram of The Glendronach in a space of moss, foliage and natural texture.
- Ode to the Embers: Indulge in an exclusive whisky-food pairing, created by Isobel Whelan-Little. Expect to be smoked, charred, and scorched.
- Ode to the Dark: Step into the shadows, where sight gives way to scent, and your palate and smell intertwine, guiding you through a final, foraged moment of sweet discovery.
The Glendronach Presents: An Ode to The Highlands will run at the Ace Hotel Sydney from Friday 24 July to Sunday 26 July, before travelling to Melbourne next month, with further details to be announced.
