This September, Matt Moran’s acclaimed CBD steakhouse Chophouse Sydney is making premium lunches more accessible with the launch of Thursday Smash Burger – a limited four-week series serving up $15 smash burgers every Thursday throughout September.
The lunchtime-only special will see Chophouse introduce a takeaway burger for the first time, giving city workers a quick and affordable way to enjoy the quality the venue is known for. Cooked fresh on the Terrace flat grill, the burgers can be taken away for an easy desk lunch or enjoyed al fresco on the restaurant’s Terrace.
Priced at just $15, the burger features a premium house-made beef patty, American cheese, onion and Chophouse’s signature burger sauce on an AP Bakery burger bun. Diners can upgrade to a double (+$5) or add bacon (+$5), with the option to pair it with a $10 draught beer or $15 glass of wine when dining in.
Known for its premium dry-aged beef – butchered in-house and sourced from leading Australian producers under the guidance of Matt Moran’s farming and butchery expertise – Chophouse is bringing its steakhouse pedigree to one of Australia’s favourite lunchtime classics, giving CBD workers an affordable excuse to swap their usual desk lunch for one of Sydney’s best steakhouses.
