Sydney Has a New Scroll Obsession

Scrolls are officially on everyone’s lips right now. But in Kingsgrove, there is a new reason people are lining up early.

While the scroll trend continues to take over Sydney feeds, Scroll Boi is doing things a little differently. Its scrolls are less about following the hype and more about giving people something they have not tasted before, fluffy, freshly baked, playful and influenced by Asian flavours that bring a little surprise to every swirl.

Behind the bakery is founder Janey, a Korean-born baker who began baking at just 12 years old before refining her craft in Seoul and eventually bringing her dream to Sydney.

Scroll Boi is the result of that journey: a bakery built around comfort, creativity and the belief that food should make people feel connected.
